This information is intended to provide a general outline of our product line, product use, and a description of the role we play in formulating and manufacturing these products for maximum performance in the field. Product Development

Our job begins with the establishment of product formulations. These are carefully developed through our background of knowledge in the field, laboratory work to determine the best materials and methods of manufacture and extensive testing under actual service conditions. Once established, our formulations are rigidly adhered to and closely controlled. As technology advances, new materials and methods become available for our products' use and manufacture. We study how these developments can be used to improve field performance and we act on them. With careful attention to the details of laboratory work and field testing, we upgrade our product formulations to take advantage of these developments. This results in a line of products that is continually changing to keep pace with the needs of roofing professionals.

 

Manufacturing & Quality Assurance

The primary requirement for manufacturing excellent, enduring products is commitment to quality. Many comparable products are made from similar materials. The difference in quality of one over another may be as simple as careful compounding of selected materials in well designed proportions. This is the foundation upon which all of our formulations are built.

Once a product formulation has been developed and routine manufacturing begins, this commitment is assured through rigorous quality control. The qualities that demonstrate the worth of the product in development must now be unerringly duplicated in production. Specifications are developed and procedures are implemented for testing. In practice, this requires that control samples of each batch be taken and tested. If the product is outside of any tolerance indicated in the specification, it is corrected prior to being packaged. Our commitment to quality means that these principles are followed at all times. There are no exceptions.
